Yesterday we got the announcement of IGTV, and along with it came a horrifying treat from Selena Gomez.
Makes sense, seeing as SelGo is one of the most followed people on the platform.
Her pal Petra Collins revealed a creepy clip the two worked on together in honor of Instagram’s new video launch.
The short film titled “A Love Story” sees Selena haunted by the dullness of everyday life.
As the video goes on you can tell something is not quite right… someone with a finger mask is petting her hair, then Selena is shaving birthday cake frosting off her leg with a butcher knife, and now she’s completely possessed...
Selena sucking on an eyeball is an image we will never be able to erase.
Turns out this was just the beginning.
Selena stars in a series of clips directed by her best friend Petra.
The rest of the snippets feature new takes on these same disturbing scenes with additional sound effects like chainsaws and eerie humming.
Petra posted some behind-the-scenes images to her social media accounts including Selena looking lifeless in a bathtub.
Does anyone else think our girl Selena is a little TOO GOOD at acting in this genre? Someone needs to cast her in a horror film STAT.
It turns out our nightmare is actually Selena’s dream come true.
Selena and Petra talked for over a year about wanting to do a horror movie together.
According to Elle, Petra told Vanity Fair a little bit about this last year saying QUOTE, “I love The Exorcist and the things that come from inside you.
The things that are a little more subtle, and things that you deal with from inwards and I feel like it’s something Selena and I both love talking about.”
We love talking about what you guys think.
So head down to the comments and let us know what you think of this IGTV film starring Selena? Do you think there’s more to the story here regarding what this film is actually acabout? After that, click here to get the deets on the brand new Stranger Things comic book series! As always I’m your host Miriam Isa, thanks for tuning in to Clevver.
